CHRONOLOGICAL BIOGRAPHY OF THE FOUNDER
Fr. Pablo also was inspired in founding and caring for the existence of a Secular Institute and a congregation of Dominican Sisters in the Philippines: the Dominican Sisters of St. Joseph (1959), the Dominican Daughters of the Immaculate Mother (1972), and the Daughters of St. Dominic (1973). He also guided, directed and inspired lay associations and secular institutes. e.g. Company of St. Dominic and the JHS Chaplet Association

Six brothers, Daciano, Pedro, Emiliano, Jose Luis, Bernabe and four sisters, Maria Cruz, Adoracion, Gloria and Valeriana
Elementary Education: Pedrosa del Rey, Leon, Spain; at age 11 followed his parish priest to start his seminary life
High School Education: Studied humanities at Colegio de Nuestra Senora del Rosario, La Mejorada, Olmedo, Valladolid, Spain
Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Intramuros: First assignment and taught different subjects and at the same time enrolled in the University of Sto. Tomas for his post graduate studies in Philosophy and Letters
Fr. Pablo was then a famous writer and historian. It can be seen in his numerous writings which, by his own calculation, amounted to some 5,000 typed written pages
His principal publications: History of the Church in the Philippines; One Hundred Years of Dominican Apostolate in Formosa (1859-1958) and Dominicos Donde Nace el Sol .
Regular contributor of different magazines: Boletin Ecclesiastico de Filipinas, Santo Rosario, La Vos Estudiantil, Acta Manilana, Philippiniana Sacra, Life Today and Huellas Dominicanas, Campo Misional, and Unitas.
Among his many works, the most important was Chronicles of the Dominican Province, biographical data about the religious he wrote during many years that appeared in the necrology

Unable to continue his teaching duties after World War II erupted in the Pacific. Later, he was named as Chaplain of the Dominican Sisters’ convent in Lingayen, Pangasinan
Transferred as Professor to the Minor Seminary in Tayabas, Quezon
Appointed as Procurator/Ecoenomo of the Interdiocesan Seminary at UST

Assigned as Provincial Promoter of the Dominican Laity [Third Order Dominicans] during his stay at Santo Domingo Convent, Quezon City
suffered a massive heart attack, spent three years recuperating and convalescing at Sto. Domingo Convent, Ocana, Toledo, Spain
returned to the Philippines on the occasion of the Provincial Chapter
